NOTES · B2B website FAQ

NOTES · NT-08
1.Which platform works best for a B2B website?

For an inquiry-driven B2B website, we usually recommend WordPress. It handles content, product catalogs and custom features well, and the catalog and inquiry forms can be built around your business. If you also want to take retail orders, add WooCommerce or we can evaluate other platforms.

2.I already sell on Alibaba.com. Do I still need my own website?

It’s worth considering. On a marketplace, the traffic and rules belong to the platform, and competitors sit right next to you on price. Your own website builds your brand and organic search traffic, and the inquiries are yours alone. Many companies run both.

3.How long does SEO take to show results?

Changes in indexing, rankings and inquiries depend on your site’s foundation, industry competition and content investment. We review indexing, relevant traffic and qualified inquiries stage by stage, and we don’t promise a fixed timeline.

4.We have many products with complex specs. Can you organize them?

Yes. We work with you to map out categories and spec fields and build a filterable catalog with bulk import, spec sheets and PDF downloads. At handover, we provide admin training and how-to guides so your team can handle the agreed day-to-day maintenance.

5.Will we get a lot of spam inquiries?

Some, yes. We set up spam protection and design form fields around what you need to quote, striking a balance between inquiry volume and quality.

6.How many languages do we need?

It depends on your target markets. Most start with English, then add German, Spanish, French, Russian, Arabic and others based on where key customers come from. Each language gets its own URLs so it can be indexed separately in each country.
