Can Wix run an online store?
Yes. Wix has a built-in store feature that suits shops with a small catalog and a focus on brand presentation. If you have lots of products and sell mainly through ads, we usually recommend Shopify or Shoplazza instead.
Can I edit the site myself after launch?
Yes, and that’s where Wix shines. Text, images and pages can all be edited right in the editor. At handover we run a training session and give you a guide to common tasks.
What does Wix cost?
Mainly the Wix site plan and your domain. Some features (such as bookings or a store) require a specific plan. Current pricing is on the Wix website, and our proposal recommends the plan that fits your needs.
Can you build a multilingual site?
Yes. Wix supports multilingual sites, with content managed separately for each language. You can supply the translations, or we can translate and then proofread them.
Can I move the site to another platform later?
Good to know up front: Wix sites can’t be exported directly to other platforms. Migrating usually means rebuilding the pages, though text and images can be reused. If you expect your feature needs to grow significantly, compare scalability and migration costs when choosing a platform.
How good is Wix for SEO?
Wix has the common SEO settings built in, such as page titles, descriptions, URLs and sitemaps, which is plenty for brand websites and portfolios. If content marketing and organic traffic are your main source of customers, WordPress gives you more control.
Will it look right on mobile?
The mobile view can be adjusted as needed; how depends on the editor you choose. We check every page on mobile to make sure text, images, buttons and booking forms are clear and easy to use.
